QuizBao

A practice test maker for the questions you already have

Knowing each question isn't the same as finishing a paper on time. QuizBao builds timed mock exams from your own bank, scores them by points with a pass line and shows where your time went — then every question you missed goes to your mistake book.

Mock exam result with score, pass line and review options

One mock exam in four steps

  1. Set up the paper

Choose banks or chapters, the number of questions (per question type if you like) and a time limit. Mix several banks and shuffle the options if you want.

  2. Take it like the real exam

A countdown, an answer sheet showing what's left, and no answers or explanations until you submit. Leave halfway and your answers are saved.

  3. Get a real score

Scored by points, not just a count: partial credit for multi-select, per-blank credit for fill-ins, and a pass line (60% by default, adjustable).

  4. Review and go again

Go through each question with its explanation, retry only the ones you missed, or draw a new paper with the same settings.

How people use it

Certification and licensing exams

  • IT certifications, project management, nursing, accounting, law and more
  • Import a practice bank you bought or wrote, then sit full timed papers
  • Check whether you finish in time, not just whether you know the answers

Daily checks and teaching

  • A 20-question, 15-minute quiz as a daily check
  • A full paper every two or three days before the exam
  • Teachers share an Excel file with point values so everyone is scored the same way

Only import questions you have the right to use, such as your own, your course's, or a bank you've bought for personal study.

Built for exam prep

  • Point values taken from the question, from your per-type settings, or from defaults (single choice 1, multi-select 2, true/false 1, fill-in 2, short answer 5)
  • Add a “score” or “points” column in Excel to give every question its own value
  • Time per question is recorded, and the three slowest questions are listed after each paper
  • The timer stops when you switch apps, lock the screen or do nothing for 2 minutes
  • Mock exam trends and where you lose points, in Statistics
  • Wrong answers go to the mistake book and come back on a spaced-review schedule

FAQ

Can I make a mock exam from my own questions?

Yes. Choose Exam mode, pick the banks, the number of questions and the time limit, and start. Answers and explanations stay hidden until you submit, and the paper is scored automatically.

Can I decide how many points each question is worth?

Yes. A value on the question comes first, then the per-type values you set before the exam, then the defaults: single choice 1, multi-select 2, true/false 1, fill-in 2, short answer 5.

Can I change the pass line?

Yes. It's a percentage of the total, 60% by default. Set it to 0 if you don't want a pass/fail result.

What if I leave in the middle?

Your answers are saved and you can carry on from the home screen. The countdown keeps running while you're away, and the paper is submitted automatically when time is up.
